Monday Morning Announcements December 3-8
For December 9-15: 1. Green Team Recycling meets Tuesday from 8:20-8:45 in Erik's room. All are welcome. Please come with a pass from your advisor.

3. Open School's Lego League competed on two weeks ago at the First Lego League regional tournament. Our students presented themselves well during each facet of the event. [mission performances, technical judging, and research presentation] and they received the: Judges’ Award- Judges’ award is presented at the discretion of the judges to award special or unique solutions or teams. St. Paul Open School CARES : Great integration of a wide range of ages into a team.This award qualifies us to compete in the FLL State competition on January 26th, 2008. 4. Homecoming: Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! All went as planned with the play, orchestra, book fair, food, bonfire, videotaping, fraquetcball demonstrations and much more. Numerous alumni from a span of over 30 years mingled with parents, students, and staff – current and former – to make the event uplifting.
5. Theater: The school play, An Italian Straw Hat performed on December 6, 7, and 8 to smashing reviews by all who attended. Audiences laughed and chuckled through each performance last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Congratulations to Pam and all the Theater students for an entertaining and well executed play!
6. Freetime Friday Detention: Freetime Friday Detention started last Friday (12/7). This will allow us to eliminate the after-school detentions. The detention will run from 8:10-8:45 in Anna's room. Students should show up with homework or a book to read. They need to be on time. Cormelle will send a list tomorrow of all of the students that have been assigned detentions so that all staff will all be aware of the students that need to be there.
